President’s Cup 2015
Congratulations to Garry Roque and his home bred filly B.F. Lennyx on their win in the inaugural CSHA President’s Cup. It was an exciting start to the new undertaking with 17 foals competing and showcasing the next generation of Canadian Sport Horses.
BF Lennyx is a chestnut filly by Checkmate, out of Bystorm Monday. The mare was also bred by Garry and is by the TB stallion Rather Well, himself a CSHA approved stallion.
The $5000 class, generously sponsored by a CSHA supporter awarded $2000 to 1st, $1000 to 2nd and $500 from 3rd to 6th
Richard & Sylvia Dixon & Beasley Farms kindly sponsored a $500 award to the owners of the stallion siring the class winner – Jennifer & Armin Arnoldt, Dreamscape Farm in Langley BC
12 stallions were represented in the class, Aloha, Banderas, Bon Balou, Boulders Bam Bam, Braecrest Beaumont, Caddyshack B, Checkmate, Dillinger, Popeye K, Redwine, Rubinus and Sir Gregory.
We were very pleased with the turnout and encouraged by the comments of breeders already planning to bring their foals to the RAWF 2016.
