People whose preferred discipline is "Hunter"
I'm primarily a competitor. I have one mare who is Sport Horse approved. I'm also involved in running a CSH sanctioned breed show, Summerfest Breeders Show.
I just attended the national AGM. Fun bunch of people!
I am a CSH owner who likes to keep informed of the happenings in the equine world. My daughter rides Hunter/Jumper and loves it.
I am glad the CSHA is here and has such high standards.
Small sporthorse breeder. Participating mostly in hunters.
The CSHA is a vital organization to promote Canadian bred horses.
I like my TB's and I like my Appaloosas. My daughter is into the English riding and wanted a colored sport horse. So I have put the two together last year and am looking forward to my first one to hit the ground in the next few weeks. So here we are just keeping our fingers crossed. I have selected my mares very carefully for this, and my stallion is an Appaloosa and he has a reining back ground. So put the two together and hopefully we will get a pretty good thing going.
I now nothing about this association. But want to now more if I plan on trying to breed a sport horse of any kind.

CSHA offers 2 prestigious yearly shows that we have found extremely rewarding for us to promote our young up and coming sport horses from weanling in-hand classes to under saddle performance.

I am 23 years old, and own a TB mare who I compete Hunter/Jumpers on, and a yearling warmblood gelding by Westporte!
I am looking forward to showing my yearling on the line over the next couple years
I have a Canadian Cross which his Dam is half registered with CSHA and has other horse's in his bloodline also registered CSHA and just curious.
just checking things out.
I've owned horses for the last 10 years. Currently own a PMU mare from Manitoba. I am interested in finding out if I can register her, as her parentage is unknown other than she is supposed to be a Percheron/TB cross. As she has no other registration, I am interested in registering her as a Sport Horse and pursuing a hunter/dressage/jumper discipline with her.
I heard about the CSHA from other horse friends, and decided to check out the website. I am happy to see there are still people out there who don't believe registration with APHA, or AQHA is the be all and end all of a horse's worth.
Own an old (!) Cdn Sport Horse 28 yrs, whom I showed in the 1983 Cup classes at the Royal. He placed 3rd and 4th and I was thrilled. He is an Anglo Arab still being ridden regularly and jumped a bit. He loves it and still looks pretty good!!
Great organization promoting super horses.
