Rupert has fabulous movement, tremendous scope and a lovely temperament. These
highly sought after characteristics are embodied by his offspring as they all have eyecatching
movement, lots of chrome and athletic aptitude, combined with easy-going personalities.
Rupert is sired by the legendary Grand Prix show jumper, Rio Grande, recently
named the USEF leading living hunter sire. On his dam’s side Rupert has Graf/Grande.
Showing with his owner in the amateur divisions he displays his relaxed demeanour while
demonstrating both his potential and remarkable versatility by competing successfully over
the last several years in 4 disciplines: Hunter, Jumper, Eventing and Dressage. Highlights
include: 2006 Qualifying for the Preliminary level Eventing year-end Championships, High
Score Award 2004 National Dressage Show, 73.077%, ‘A’ Circuit Handy Hunter Challenge
Score 85.5%. An excellent cross for Thoroughbred mares, Rupert’s offspring are very flashy,
correct movers, showing the same versatility and aptitude for all disciplines~although
particularly marketable as hunter prospects. In 2006, his oldest foal placed 3rd in the
