Canadian Sport Horse 1996 Stallion Bay 17.5 hh Inspected 2001
Rheirattack recently became the first ever Canadian bred dressage stallion to be approved, based upon competitive performance, as a breeding stallion by the Oldenburg, Westphalian, and Rhineland Verbands. This beautiful, mahogany stallion has completed his first year competing at the Grand Prix level. He was a 3 time Grand Prix Champion in 2007 and finished in 2nd place in the Grand Prix Special at the CNE Classic CDI*** held in Toronto. He is the proud result of the Rideauwood Farm breeding program which uses frozen semen from world class stallions such as De Niro, Sandro Hit, Fidertqanx, For Pleasure, Don Schufro and many others.
He is a member of Dressage Canada's 2006, 2007 and 2008 Dressage National Team. He was recognized as the CSHA's dressage stallion of the year for 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006. He was a member of the Canadian Grand Prix Quadrille Team at the 2005 and 2006 Challenge of the Americas and the 2006 Grand Prix Quadrille Team at the Royal Winter Fair.
Rheirattack will continue training and competing at the Grand Prix level in Canada and the United States in 2008. Due to his active competition schedule, breeding is by frozen semen only.
