This handsome young stallion has all the qualities desired by the modern sport horse
breeder; his pedigree stems from a prominent gallery of ancestors, he exhibits a desire
to please, he learns quickly and has a calm, reliable temperament. He has correct
conformation, good bones, strong joints, large kind eyes, and powerful ground covering
movement. Cicero’s sire, Cor de la Bryere, was one of the most important foundation sires
of the Holstein Breed. Ligustra, Cicero’s dam, is also the dam of Royal Cavalier, the most
important warmblood stallion in Ireland, with winnings in CSIO up to 2.2m. Silvester Girl’s
dam, Inderin is also the dam of the most popular stallion in 1990 (Coriolan) in Germany.
Silvester Girl was shown at the Preliminary Section 1 jumpers in 1992-1994 with Shelly
Bowen at Spruce Meadows. Silvester Girl has some of the best bloodlines of the Holstein
breed. Through her sire ‘Silvester’, best known son of the exceptional show jumping Selle
Français stallion ‘Silbersee’, and out of a mare line from Capitano. Silvester dominantly
transmitted his enormous jumping ability to his offspring and has also presented dressage
horses of the very highest calibre.
