Capyrus was imported from France in 1998 and immediately began his show career
in North America. Although he had been jumping at Grand Prix level in France,
he quickly became a top hunter in North America. Capyrus competed in the Amateur
Owner and Regular Working Hunters and was Champion at Thunderbird, Milner Downs,
Evergreen - WA, and Indio - California. Capyrus’ hunter career peaked in 2000, winning
the Canadian Championship at the Royal Winter Fair in Amateur Owner Working Hunter.
Capyrus is no longer performing in the show ring; however his offspring have inherited his scope, athleticism and wonderful temperament. Their temperament makes them easy to train and a pleasure to handle, which makes them delightful to own. Capyrus is an ideal choice when breeding for
excellent show quality and fabulous temperament. Capyrus and his offspring are available for viewing year ‘round.
