| Capyrus was imported from France in 1998 and immediately began his show career in North America. Although he had been jumping at Grand Prix level in France, he quickly became a top hunter in North America. Capyrus competed in the Amateur Owner and Regular Working Hunters and was Champion at Thunderbird, Milner Downs, Evergreen - WA, and Indio - California. Capyrus’ hunter career peaked in 2000, winning the Canadian Championship at the Royal Winter Fair in Amateur Owner Working Hunter. Capyrus is no longer performing in the show ring; however his offspring have inherited his scope, athleticism and wonderful temperament. Their temperament makes them easy to train and a pleasure to handle, which makes them delightful to own. Capyrus is an ideal choice when breeding for excellent show quality and fabulous temperament.
