TACORDE continues to prove that he has the athletic ability, the heart and desire to be a top level jumper, continuing his impressive career in 2011 with his debut in the international ring at Spruce Meadows. He competed up to the 1.50m level with many impressive rounds, including a double clear in the Atco Midstreams cup as well as many top 5 placings on the local Grand Prix circuit. Tacorde finished the year off at indoor Spruce Meadows where in the first week he competed in two Grand Prix’s and finished 2nd and 3rd respectively and then in week two competed in the puissance and became second, clearing 1.80m with ease. Tacorde has proven that he has the ability to be a top international horse and he is producing exceptional offspring as well that excel as jumpers. They inherit his innate jumping ability, his incredible temperament and his wonderful work ethic. They are substantial with excellent hind ends and his incredible canter. He crosses very well with blood type mares that are bred to jump. His mature offspring are moderately sized, they are substantial but not too big, and yes, he has put chrome on every one of them! Due to Tacorde’s busy show schedule he is occasionally only available via excellent quality frozen semen.
