DAMPEZZO is a fully approved Hanoverian stallion, ranking 4th out of 38 stallions in the dressage portion of his 100 Day Test. He combines both movement and pedigree that promises a bright future in breeding and competition. He is the 1st approved son of Don Frederico, 2006 Stallion of the year, to stand in NA. His sire, Donnerhall, produced more than 70 approved stallions in Germany alone. Dampezzo’s dam’s sire, Lauries Crusader, was Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2006. Also on the dam’s side, Weltmeyer’s credentials are endless, including winner of the stallion licensing in Verden 1986, and Hanoverian Stallion of the Century 2006. Dampezzo had a very exciting 2010 season, showing for the first time at Intermediaire II, winning 98% of his classes and either FEI Advance Champion or Reserve Champion. He also received his FEI advance award from Cadora, his Gold Medal in Intermediaire II from Equine Canada and accomplished his Silver Premium with the CSHA in Intermediaire I and II. Dampezzo received comments from the judges and spectators as “World Class, one of Canada’s best International potentials, a natural for the top levels, and Olympic calibre”.
