Capi Rossi possesses a truly amateur friendly disposition, willing nature and excellent work ethic. He is a modern type stallion with an excellent top line and strong back connection. Displaying an elastic, ground covering gallop, he scored and 8.5 for jumping and an 8 for canter at his 2009 CSHA licensing. Named the Reserve Champion Jumper Foal in all of Denmark for 2006, Capi continued his winning ways here in Canada, being named the 2009 Overall High Point Champion 3 yr. old for the EOOLHC. Lightly campaigned in 2010, Capi earned 2nd, 2nd and 5th in his three 4 yr. old jumper class appearances as well as 4th, 1st, 6th and 8th in his 3’6" Amateur-Owner Hunter debut. We anticipate his continued success in the hunter/jumper rings in 2011. Capi is a son of Carano, Denmark’s ‘Stallion of the Year’ for 2004. Carano is also the sire of the winning hunter Rumba (John French) and the Grand Prix Jumper, Chianto (John Pearce) - Team 5th and Individual 8th at the 2010 World Equestrian Games. His dam sire, Solos Landtinus, was Denmark’s ‘Stallion of the Year’ for 2005 and is known for producing horses for both jumpers and dressage.
