Inspections

Mare Inspection:
Please refer to the Mare Inspection Guidelines document for information on the process.

DNA hair sample is required. If mare has been typed with another registry please advise Inspection secretary. To obtain the information from the Jockey Club, the owner of the mare must be recorded with Jockey Club and complete a Request for DNA Genetic Marker Report.

Stallion Inspection:
Please refer to the Stallion Inspection Guidelines document for information on the process.

Stallion owners wishing to have their stallion considered are requested to complete the 'Inspection Nomination' form.

Transfer of Ownership

To complete a Transfer of Ownership please forward to the CSHA office:
- Original Certificate with transfer information completed on the reverse with date of sale and full contact information of new owner.

If transfer information is not recorded on reverse of certificate, please include one of following:
- Transfer of Ownership Form or
- Copy of Bill of Sale

If the Original Certificate has been lost/destroyed a Notarized Statutory Declaration must be completed before a new certificate will be issued.

Privacy Policy

At Canadian Sport Horse Association, we strive to develop innovative services to better serve our users. Canadian Sport Horse Association collects limited non-personally identifying information your browser makes available whenever you visit a website.
