President's Message:
Happy New Year to all!
As 2010 gets underway, Alberta has had their AGM and welcome two new directors aboard; Jen Stephenson and Linda Ackermann. Congratulations Ladies and welcome. The Ontario Chapter AGM is coming up February 6th with seats open and I'm sure we will see some new faces on that board. Looking forward to meeting you and hearing your ideas.
Further on in February, but less than 2 weeks away, is the Stallion Service Auction. If you are breeding your mare(s) this year please don't forget to look here first for a prospective stallion. Our stallion owners have donated to support the Association and your support in bidding will be truly appreciated and you will be able to see the results of the funds raised in the programs the Association is able to plan and implement over the year.
The National AGM is coming up in Ottawa March 06 - please mark it on your calendars as there is much to learn, discuss and plan for 2010. Please get involved and come to the AGM - your input is valued and needed!
We have a busy first quarter - come on down and take part where you can. Get involved in a chapter near you and if there isn't one in your province, get some friends together and get one going - the more the merrier!
Lisa Murphy, President CSHA
