Health Alert: Woodbine Racetrack Barn 1 Under Quarantine |
Wednesday, June 12, 2013, Ottawa, Ontario - As reported today by the Daily Racing Forum, the Ontario Racing Commission has quarantined one of Woodbine racetrack's barns, located in Toronto, and implemented shipping restrictions after two horses tested positive for a strain of the equine herpes virus (EHV-1).
An unraced two-year-old was euthanized Monday after showing symptoms of a potential neurological disease.

The annual CSHA Alberta Free-jumping Clinic with Bob Henselwood and a Silent Auction Fundraiser will take place on June 10th this year. CSHA supporters are being most generous with Silent Auction donations; more are always welcome!
